Most people chasing freedom aren’t lazy, and aren’t confused about where they’re going. They want more money, or more time, or to stop having to think about either. They’re already working hard at it.
What they don’t have is a way to tell whether the thing they’re working on this month is the thing that actually moves them.
You can work flat out for three years on the wrong lever.
You can earn more every single year and be no freer than when you started.
You can have a good plan and nothing that holds it together on a bad week.
The gap is not the problem. The lack of a system is.
If you’ve done The Freedom Audit, you already have your number and the Playbook picks up exactly where it stopped. If you haven’t, it makes no difference — this starts from the beginning and stands on its own.
Why it’s worth the afternoon
Ten minutes in, the Five Levers Scan names the one constraint capping everything else. By the end of an afternoon you have your position, your Big Three and a ninety-day plan, written in your own handwriting.
That’s the part that changes what you do this week. It isn’t the part that matters most.
Nothing in the Playbook expires. Your income changes, a plan changes, a year turns — you open it again, re-score the levers and the answer moves with you. The calculator recalculates. The move library re-ranks. Most people run the whole thing every ninety days, and the Playbook is built to be run that way.
A book is something you read once. A system is something you own. This is the second thing.
No subscription, no login, no renewal. You buy it once and it is still yours, still working, the next time everything changes.
What it is
There’s nothing to watch, no modules, no login and nothing to fall behind on. Fifteen pages you write on, a calculator that does the arithmetic for you, and a ninety-day system that still works on the weeks when motivation doesn’t.
It is the working system underneath The Freedom Game® — seeing the whole board, choosing the next move, and building something that survives a bad month.
What you get
Score the five levers of your financial life and find the one constraint capping all the others. Most people already suspect theirs. This makes it undeniable.
Five named positions — The Squeeze, The Golden Cage, The Slow Build, The Launch Pad, The Reset. Each with its own route, its own trap, and a clear list of what to ignore for now.
The maths that shows why six small moves beat one heroic one — and why the big move you’ve been waiting for is probably not coming.
Forty-five specific moves across all five levers, each tagged for the board it belongs to — employed, self-employed, or both — with a scorer that ranks them for your situation.
A three-cycle sprint, a twenty-minute weekly review, a twelve-month scorecard and a set of decision rules that hold when you’re tired.
A live spreadsheet that does the arithmetic — your number, your gap, your timeline, your scenarios and your priority ranking, all recalculated as you type. Change one figure next year and everything updates.
All six tools. One afternoon. Then every ninety days for as long as you’re playing.

Who it’s for
There’s a loud story that freedom requires quitting, or property, or a portfolio of businesses. It’s usually told by people who took that route and now sell that route.
The game doesn’t change with where your income comes from. The board does — and a move that pays off on one board can waste a year on another.
Predictable income, less control over it. Your leverage sits in what you protect, what you negotiate and what you put to work.
More control, lumpier income. Your leverage sits in structure, model, pricing and what still earns when you stop.
A job and something on the side. The most common board there is, and the one almost nobody writes for — with its own trap: running two half-systems and calling it a plan.
Every one of the forty-five moves is tagged for the board it belongs to, so you’re never working through advice built for somebody else’s situation.
It’s not for you if you want to be told what to do. This gives you the board and the moves. You still play.
If you recognised your board, this was written for you.

Who made it
I’m the founder of The Freedom Game® and a Money & Freedom Strategist. I’ve personally coached more than 250 entrepreneurs and supported over 500 people through workshops and accelerator programmes. I’m a Level 5 Coaching Professional (Distinction) and an EMCC Accredited Coach & Mentor at Practitioner Level. Day to day, I’m COO of a finance group.
I also built this because I needed it. I’m not writing to you from the finish line — I’m building my own freedom in public, using this exact system. That’s the whole reason it’s practical rather than theoretical.
Fair questions
“I haven’t done the free audit.”
It doesn’t matter. The audit sizes the destination; the Playbook builds the route. This starts from the beginning and works on its own.
“I’m only doing this on the side.”
That’s the board this was hardest to write for, and the one it’s best at. Side income has its own moves, its own traps and its own maths — all of it is in here.
“Is it worth it for one afternoon’s work?”
The afternoon is the smallest part of it. You’re buying something you’ll re-run every ninety days for as long as you’re playing — and it costs less than an hour of anyone’s time who’d tell you the same things.
“I’ve bought things like this before.”
This one has fifteen pages you write in and a calculator that does the maths. Work through it, and if it hasn’t changed a decision, I’ll refund you within thirty days.
“I don’t have time.”
Ten minutes for the first diagnostic, an afternoon for the whole thing. After that it’s twenty minutes a week, and only if you want it.
“I’ll just book a call instead.”
You can. But bring this filled in and the call starts at the real question, instead of spending the first hour finding it.
Work through the Five Levers Scan and pick your Big Three. If it hasn’t changed a single decision, email me within 30 days and I’ll refund you in full.
I ask you to do the work first for the same reason I’d ask a client to — this only works if you actually use it. That is the entire job. But if you use it and it doesn’t land, I’d rather you had the money back.
One afternoon gets you the constraint, the position and the next three moves.
What you keep is a system that still works the next time everything changes.
