Frequently asked questions

A little clarity before your next step.

Whether you want space to think, support to follow through, or systems that give you time back—here's how working together can help.

You don't need to know exactly what you need before you get in touch.

01 / Find your starting point

Choosing the right support.

Start with what you want to change. We can work out the route from there.

Do I need coaching or help with my business systems?

Coaching helps you decide what matters and act on it. It's for clarity, decisions, confidence and accountability as you build a life or business that works for you.

Systems support helps make that freedom practical. It's for the processes, repetitive tasks and everyday friction taking up your time—from finding the leaks to implementing workflows, automation and useful AI.

You may need both. The starting point is the outcome you want, rather than fitting yourself into a package.

Who do you work with?

Entrepreneurs, business owners, leaders and motivated individuals who want more choice over their time, work and life. You might be navigating a career decision, building your own business, or running a team that relies too heavily on you.

You don't need a particular job title. What matters is wanting something to change and being willing to take practical steps towards it.

What if I'm not sure what I need yet?

That's a perfectly good place to start. Tell me what's happening, what feels harder than it should and what you'd like to be different. You don't need a finished plan or a polished brief.

What happens after I enquire or apply?

Your enquiry helps me understand what you're working towards and the support you're looking for. I'll review it and come back to you with an appropriate next step or any questions needed to understand the fit.

An enquiry doesn't commit you to paid work. For a bespoke project, we'll agree the scope, price and terms before you decide to go ahead.

02 / Free up your time

Business systems & AI.

Less work living in your head. More of your business running through a clear process.

Can you help implement the changes, not just recommend them?

Yes. Support can include reviewing how work gets done, finding time leaks, documenting processes, building workflows and automating repetitive tasks. It can also include helping your team use AI confidently in their day-to-day work.

We'll agree which parts you want me to implement, where your team will be involved and what the handover needs to include.

What kinds of tasks can you help systemise?

Examples include client enquiries and onboarding, CRM workflows, payment administration, follow-ups, repetitive internal tasks and content marketing processes.

In my own coaching business, I've built AI-assisted CRM and payment workflows and systemised much of the social media marketing process. As COO at Finanze, a central part of my work has been getting tasks out of people's heads and into repeatable systems.

The aim is to remove unnecessary work and make important work easier—not automate something simply because we can.

Do I need new software or a technically confident team?

Not necessarily. We'll start with how your business works now, the tools you already use and where time is being lost. Sometimes the useful change is a simpler process, clearer ownership or better use of an existing tool.

If new software, integrations or training would help, we'll discuss the practical requirements and any ongoing costs as part of the proposed approach.

How is business systems work priced?

It's quoted to fit the work. The size of your business, number of people and processes involved, technical complexity, implementation and training requirements all affect the scope.

After understanding what you need, I'll set out the proposed work and fee before you commit. Explore working together to tell me about your business.

03 / Turn clarity into action

Coaching & pricing.

A focused conversation or ongoing support—depending on what will help you move forward.

Which one-off session should I book?

Coaching & Mentoring focuses on a particular business, career, leadership or personal decision. We explore what's happening, your options and the practical next steps.

A Freedom Strategy Call looks at the wider life you want to build: what freedom means to you, what's getting in the way and a realistic route towards it.

Both are coaching conversations. If you want hands-on business process or automation work, enquire about systems support instead.

The price and payment requirements are shown before you complete your booking. You can compare the options on Work With Marie.

Do I need to prepare—and what happens afterwards?

No formal preparation is needed. It helps to think about what you want help with and what you'd like to be different after the conversation. Bring any Freedom Game resources you've completed if they're useful.

After your session, you'll receive a personalised follow-up summarising the key insights and agreed next actions, with relevant resources where appropriate.

Can I have just one session, or continue with ongoing support?

A one-off session is a complete service. There is no obligation to join a monthly package afterwards.

Ongoing coaching is available if you want regular accountability, continuity and space to work through decisions as you implement your plans. We'll discuss what level of support makes sense for you.

What does monthly coaching include and cost?

Basic includes one private 60-minute session each month, continuity and accountability, relevant resources and occasional brief email contact.

Premium includes up to 120 minutes of coaching each month, used in an arrangement agreed in advance, plus WhatsApp support between appointments and closer accountability.

Monthly packages start with a three-month minimum commitment. You'll receive the coaching agreement before setting up recurring Direct Debit. Support becomes active once the agreement is completed and the payment arrangement confirmed.

Unused time doesn't automatically carry over. Package changes and any continuation are agreed in line with your coaching agreement. WhatsApp is for brief support during reasonable working hours, not instant or unlimited access.

04 / Know what to expect

The practical details.

Clear arrangements, respectful boundaries and no pressure to commit while something is unclear.

Can we work together remotely?

Yes. Coaching can take place online. For business systems work, we'll agree the most suitable format for discovery, implementation and any team training as part of the project scope.

If you need an in-person workshop or support at your business, include your location and requirements in your enquiry.

How do payments and rescheduling work?

One-off sessions are paid for during booking and aren't confirmed until payment is completed. Monthly coaching is paid by recurring Direct Debit following your agreement.

A session can normally be rescheduled once with at least 24 hours' notice, subject to availability. Use your confirmation link or contact me as soon as possible.

Changes or cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be treated as a used session and may not be refundable or replaceable. Genuine emergencies are considered individually, and applicable statutory rights still apply. Check the terms provided with your booking or agreement for the full details.

Are our conversations confidential?

Coaching conversations are treated as confidential, subject to the exceptions in your agreement, such as legal requirements or serious safeguarding concerns.

For business projects, we'll agree the access and information needed for the work. Please don't include passwords or sensitive client information in an initial enquiry.

Is this therapy or regulated financial advice?

No. Coaching focuses on decisions, action, accountability and future progress. It isn't therapy, medical care, legal advice or regulated financial advice.

Where specialist advice is needed, you'll need an appropriately qualified professional. Coaching and between-session messaging aren't emergency or crisis services.

Can you guarantee a result or a set number of hours saved?

No specific personal, business or financial result is guaranteed. The same applies to time savings: the starting point, processes, tools and implementation all matter.

For systems work, we can identify the tasks taking up time and agree what improvement we're aiming for. For coaching, we'll focus on useful decisions and actions within your control.

These FAQs are a general guide. Your booking terms, coaching agreement or project proposal set out the details of the service you choose. Please raise any questions before committing.
